Faith, and my Journal
Today I learned how powerful faith is. And in my conclusion faith is immeasurably powerful.....as I'm writing, this song (text) rings in my mind: "But without faith it is impossible to please Him for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. " Hebrews 11:6
Wonderful, God makes it very simple for us; have faith, "while working in line with your faith" is our job, God will do the rest.
So I guess I take it for granted how God works? To simple perhaps?
When our prayers of faith, mingled with the merits of our Saviour, ascend to the throne of God, here hears it and will answer "in his timing. "
Many times I may grow impatient or maybe already, have a preconceived idea of what "I want " the answer to be.
Well, neither works, both should be shunned.
Well now,.... let's call that history.
I've got a new favorite text.
I've got new faith.
Now when I kneel before God with clasped hands and shut eyes, with fresh courage and new faith, I'm assured that He will answer answer in His timing, and according to His will.

That Simple
Chapter 1 in Prophets and Kings: Solomon, was my reading for tonight.
And as I'm reading I came to this part of the chapter:
"The language used by Solomon while praying to God before the ancient altar at Gibeon reveals his humility and his strong desire to honor God. He realized that without divine aid he was as helpless as a little child to fulfill the responsibilities resting on him. He knew that he lacked discernment, and it was a sense of his great need that led him to seek God for wisdom. In his heart there was no selfish aspirations for a knowledge that would exalt him above others. He desired to discharge faithfully the duties devolving upon him, and he chose the gift that would be the means of causing his reign to bring glory to God. Solomon was never so rich or so wise or so truly great as when he confessed, “I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.” "
What humility Solomon the king had to say "I am but a little child ".
Well now I venture to say that the above quote is an example of.... "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33"
It's that simple,.... or is it that simple?
It's simple when my will non-existent and God's will is first and foremost.
The reward is unimaginable, so why not? It doesn't seem that hard?
When self dies daily it's not.

Experience
Friends, God wants to spend time with us early each morning. He wants to renew us with a fresh pouring out of the Holy Spirit, to fit you up for the trials and temptation the day has.
Yeah you've probably heard this many times I'm sure, but really it's serious, we are living in some srious times, time is coming to a close. Jesus is coming soon, and that could easily form into a cliche, but don't let that happen. We are to live as though there is no tomorrow, "for tomorrow is not promised us", "now is the day od salvation, harden not your heart. Spend time with Jesus in the morning's, not just a few verses and a prayer and your done. Please no, spend time, search longingly the scriptures, pray with an earnest heart, plead with God, He will not fail you.
I've experienced that, it's so sweet. : )

“Despised And Rejected”
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isa. 53:3.
How few have any conception of the anguish which rent the heart of the Son of God during His thirty years of life upon earth. The path from the manger to Calvary was shadowed by sorrow and grief. He was the Man of Sorrows, and endured such heartache as no human language can portray. He could have said in truth, “Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow” (Lam. 1:12). His suffering was the deepest anguish of the soul; and what man could have sympathy with the soul anguish of the Son of the infinite God? Hating sin with a perfect hatred, He yet gathered to His soul the sins of the whole world, as He trod the path to Calvary, suffering the penalty of the transgressor. Guiltless, He bore the punishment of the guilty; innocent, yet offering Himself to bear the penalty of the transgression of the law of God. The punishment of the sins of every soul was borne by the Son of the infinite God. The guilt of every sin pressed its weight upon the divine soul of the world’s Redeemer. He who knew no sin became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him. In assuming the nature of man, He placed Himself where He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, that by His stripes we might be healed.
In His humanity Christ was tried with as much greater temptation, with as much more persevering energy than man is tried by the evil one, as His nature was greater than man’s. This is a deep mysterious truth, that Christ is bound to humanity by the most sensitive sympathies. The evil works, the evil thoughts, the evil words of every son and daughter of Adam press upon His divine soul. The sins of men called for retribution upon Himself, for He had become man’s substitute, and took upon Him the sins of the world. He bore the sins of every sinner, for all transgressions were imputed unto Him. . . . “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?” (Heb. 2:3).

Which Would You Rather?
Twelve oh'clock hits....we stop to pray, after prayer we read a devotional, (Our High Calling;October 7).
"Do you have a picture of heaven in your mind, and if explain." Mom asks.
A little one answers, to young to comprehend it. (none of us could comprehend heaven really. )
Another answers until all has answered.
"Now what if I had all you ever wanted, everything! A house, car, land, a gadget, ect. In one hand and Jesus in the other, which would you choose? "
Everybody answered with a smile, what they would choose. Then the question came to me.
"Jesus." I said.
"Well of course Jesus ." I said in my mind. Why would I pick any other?
Then it hit me. "Would I really pick Jesus, is He really what I would readily rather? "
Is He?

A Little Testimony
I gave my heart to God, i surrendered all to Him, "no more bungling around, no more hesitation, no more delay."
He is all that I need, I just can't express it like I want to, words cannot be put together. GOD IS WONDERFUL, loving, Long-suffering, and "plenteous in mercy." I'm so glad God is not like us (as humanity), because if He was I would be a lost case. But that is not the case, and I am a new creation in Jesus!
PRAISE THE LORD!!!
If we have a true, sincere from the heart love for God everything for Him will come easy. "We follow what we love."
...Next Day (Today)...
I was going down the road of perdition into danger and was not aware of it.
-Then in 2011 I went to a camp-meeting in Alabama, that's when the realization of my need of a Savior struck me. I continued to grow spiritually, and was gaining a rich experience with God. Then that slowly faded away and I totally went off track, as much off I could go. I left Jesus, putting Him aside I indulged into sins of my previous life as a world-ling and sad to say even more. After a while I tried to let loose from them Satan held on with all his tentacles with a firm grip that only God could of free me from. At a certain point I had really thought there was nothing wrong with the things I was doing even though I had full proof, I knew fully well ,from the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy that I was doing wrong, but I reasoned in my mind, with the help of Satan that I was okay. I was in the deep darkness of the evil one, Ugh I dread to look back at it, and by the GRACE and POWER of the Almighty God, I will NEVER go back.
God took by the hand and lifted me out of the fearful abyiss, and brought me to light, He put me on the narrow road, leading me by the hand, guiding me through safely, protecting me from the wicked foe.
I thank God, and rejoice for where I am and where He's leading me.
He can for you also, if you let Him.
Let Him in...:-)

Revieve and Impart
This quote gripped me:
Christ is the great center, the source of all strength. His disciples are to receive their supplies from Him. The most intelligent, the most spiritually minded, can bestow only as they receive. Of themselves they can supply nothing for the needs of the soul. We can impart only that which we receive from Christ; and we can receive only as we impart to others. As we continue imparting, we continue to receive; and the more we impart, the more we shall receive. Thus we may be constantly believing, trusting, receiving, and imparting. Desire of Ages, p. 370
This is so plain, if we want to receive we have to impart.
I'm spellbound as I read it, and I know this already, or at least I've heard or read it already, but it never came out to me as just know. I mean it's so incredible how God works, He meets you were you're at! He is so loving!
Now it's time to impart more to receive more! How exciting is that?
As Christ working through us reach out to others, we in return are blessed.
There's much to say concerning this one quote, but I'll leave it here...
Read it, meditate upon it and pray about it, I assure you God will work for you.

LIFE
Life, life is a precious gift from God, and everybody wants to live a good happy life. But what does your "happy life " consist of?
Do we live our lives in accordance to God's will? Serve and obey Him?
...hmm.... Just a question.
Do we put all on the altar for God?
He needs vessels in which to be used to shine forth His glory.
Are we a split image of Him, so that when others see us they see will see God in us. They'll see that we are truly followers of Christ?... Just a question?
Surrender all to Him, fight the good fight of faith, never be discouraged, hold on to Jesus, He will never fail you.

Ready
The world is coming to an end.The news is buzzing. People are uneasy. Riots breaking out. The economy is crashing down with force. Sickness and diseases are rampant. The military is on its toes. The world is coming to an end.
And we are...?
And you are...?
And I am...?
That's it, what are we doing to be ready?
Are we spreading the word, telling people about the gospel, about the three angels messages?
Or are we just sitting back watching the whole thing play out and not do anything about it?
They will ask you why, why you didn't tell them anything. How will you feel then?
Then, are we ourselves ready.
Are you ready?
While I ask myself, am I ready?
The time is drawing near, it's right there. Right there.
So is Jesus, He's right there, right there at the door of youre heart, waiting, knocking, pleading, for you to open up. To let Him in. Let Him in, you won't regret it. It'll be the best thing you do in life.... This world has nothing to offer, nothing at all. Jesus is all, all that is, and all that ever will be. " For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness: Pslam 95;7,8"
A storm is coming, relentless in its fury. Are we prepared to meet it? 8T 315.2
Let's be ready!

Special invitation
God wants us to come and pray to Him, He longs for communion with His children. "Yet we pray so little." He wants you to pour yourself out to Him, lay your burdens upon Him, give it all...don't hold back, cause He knows you better than you know yourself.
You can tell Him anything, from temporal to spiritual.Needs, wants, strength, victory, He cannot be overwhelmed. "Ask and it shall be given you" Matthew 7:7 Once it's according to His will. If not, (which sometimes happen) He will change it to something for our benefit. Now that is lovely, we might ask for something that;s not good for us, so He changes it for our benefit. We ought to be thankful for such a loving Savior like Jesus.
"The gifts of Him who has all power in heaven and earth are in store for the children of God."...You know, we are truly blessed to be children of God, the all powerful creator, redeemer, and Father. Truly privileged. "The cattle on a thousand hills are His" Psalm 50:10 You don't have to worry about anything, just put all your trust in Him and He will, take care of you. Not only does God give us temporal gifts....The best gift ever was the gift of His son Jesus, coming to earth to die to save us from our sins. For that we should be ever grateful. Ask for wisdom. "He longs to give you understanding in temporal as well as in spiritual matters."
You can God to cleanse you from your sins. "Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean wash me and I shall be whiter than snow." Psalm 51:7
"Ye are complete in Him."
The melody of praise is the atmosphere of heaven; and when heaven comes in touch with the earth, there is music and song-thanksgiving and the voice of melody.'"- Education 161
We should also, besides asking, thank God. Thank for the breath of life, for all that we have and are in Him. For everything He has don for us before, what He is doing now, and what He's about to do in the future.
Lastly pray in faith. Christ says, "What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Without faith it is impossible to please God. So faith is very needful, and vital for our prayers.

What next
I was asked frequently as a little child "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Well as the year's went by, my answers have changed.
But the question now is: How am I going to work for God? How am I going to further His work?
Theses are some questions that are in my mind everyday. It's almost school time again,....and this year, is my last. Then "what next? "
Right now I'm thinking to be a Medical Missionary aslo studying:
Literature Evangelism
Music
Media
Culinary Arts
Writing
and Public Speaking.
But there's another question in my mind, does the Lord want me to study those things?
My prayer is "Lord show me my calling, show me what you want me to do for you. "
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Matthew 9:37-38
The laborers are few, and I'm going to be one of the few. The harvest is plenteous,... there's no time to waste.
The harvest is past, the summer is ended and we are not saved. Jeremiah 8:20
I WANT TO BE SAVED!

Thoughts
As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. ()
I finished up my ironing.... Then finally went out into the yard to work, the smell of freshly cut grass was in air, while the sun beat on my skin..I start to rake up the fallen grass, and old magoes, this wasn't what I intended to do, but circumstances changed. As I rake up the old mangoes I think of all the old habits and sins that need to be cleaned up out of my life. I had to go and clean them up, they're not going to be cleaned up by themselves. So God has to come into my life and clean house, and I have to willingly give up those habits and sin's, with God's help and strength. I'm finished now, it looks clean, so will I look when my heart and life is cleaned also.
